Acrobatics
Acrobatics lets you jump high or long distances and mitigate fall damage.
High jump
Jumping high is rarely a useful means of ascending. Without rolling, a character can jump 2 feet in the air. Every 5 above 10 on the roll will add another foot to this.

Magical and mundane items may be able to increase your jump height.
Long Jump
Acrobatics can also be used to clear long distances. The distance travelled, assuming nothing else is interfering with the jump, can be seen in the table below.
Anyone can jump 5 feet without needing to roll. The DC for making a jump that is longer than 5ft is equal to the number of feet being jumped. Eg. a 15ft longjump will
need a roll of 15 to clear.
