Will write a proper description later: island contains a town neighboring an airport with a lot of defunct magical airships. Without uncovering actual documents on how these ships work, no player character is able to repair any of them. There are no functional airships. The intention is to gate leaving the storm circle with repairing one of these, if that is something I end up planning for.
Prior the the cataclysm, the island (which at that point was a relatively low mountaintop) was used as an airport for both commercial and military application. Air travel was a thing, but excessively expensive as it was done by having the entire ship levitate with magic and required enormous brentley stones to power.
